Kianna is an avid digital storyteller with an emphasis in enterprise and investigative reporting.
She was the 2018 Don Bolles investigative fellow for News21 in Phoenix, Arizona. She produced multiple pieces including a data-driven piece on the far right's 'hateful' influence via social media and the internet and another on the complicated development of hate groups. She was an associate producer for the documentary Hate in America. In 2017, Kianna was a digital reporter, photographer and data analyst for Cronkite News in Phoenix, Arizona. She covered breaking news such as the Las Vegas massacre and environmental enterprise stories on issues including invasive aquatic species, dilapidated homes in Bisbee and bison culling in the Grand Canyon. In recent years, Kianna has traveled to Mexico and Israel to report on multi-national environmental issues.
